| Institute on WWII
Located on the Campus of Florida State University The Institute on World War II and the Human Experience was established by Dr. William O.Oldson, Ph.D.

- The institute began acquiring collections of personal letters, diaries, manuscripts, etc. in 1997 and has become one of the largest non-federally funded repositories on the social history of the World War II era.
- Former NBC Nightly News anchor Tom Brokaw, became the honorary chair of the Institute's advisory committee in April 2006.
- An exhibit display has been created in the Wescott Building on the F.S.U. campus along with exhibition areas in the Bellamy and Longmire Buildings.
